Rule Of Thirds

  Rule Of Thirds: Rule of Thirds is a guideline followed in order to attain a cinematically pleasing shot, or picture. It refers to a 9 sectioned grid, and according to the Rule of Thirds, the subject should be placed either on the right or left vertical line of the grid, leaving the other two thirds of the image more open. In landscapes, for example, 2 portions can be given to the sky, and one to the sea or land.

 Decoding and semiotics The field of semiotics, often known as semiotic analysis, is the study of these signals, codes, and traditions in film. A approach to describe how an audience interprets codes is through semiotic analysis. The thing that provides meaning has all meaning inscribed in it. Course brief

 Course brief set In media studies, we look at various media and how they are made, from books to films. Our course is partitioned into two areas: one covers media content and setting, and different covers genuine data about establishments and watchers. We are supposed to produce a foundation portfolio which consists of a film opening sequence.

 My name is Syed Muhammad Haseeb Shah.  I am from The City School, an A-level student studying media.
